A Black Jack game, whether played in a land based casino or online, is all about beating the dealer of the house. But always consider that you should also get values that are 21 in value, and not go over it. And as some of you may already know, this casino game is also known as Twenty-one.
Before playing Real Black Jack, you should know that as soon as all bets are in, the dealer will start by dealing cards to each player in the game. The dealer only hands each player two cards during the current match. You will be able to see one of the dealer’s cards facing up. This on your part, is an advantage, as this gives you a hint on whether your dealer’s cards are strong or not. Make sure you only focus on your dealer’s cards, as none of the cards that the other players have will matter to you. In this game, you are solely competing against the dealer of the house.
To know more about the game’s basic terminologies, read the list provided below:
• Hit – a hit is when you take a card. You are allowed to hit as many times as you desire.
• Stand – a stand means to end your turn. The next player gets to play after you stand.
• Double Down – a double down is when you double your bet. You can take one more card and then end you turn.
• Split – if you happen to have two of the same card (i.e. two 6’s), you have the option of splitting them up and playing them for separate hands. You get to have an extra card for each. With this, you can either hit or stand on each card hand. You will also need to place another bet as you’re playing for two hands now.
• Face cards – these are your Kings, Queens and Jacks (which is worth ten)
• Ace – an ace can either be counted as 11 (if and when it triggers a bust), or count as 1
• Bust – this happens when you go over the value of 21. You automatically lose.
• Win – if you happen to have a higher value compared to what the dealer has
• Lose – you automatically lose if your cards are lower than the dealers
• Push or Tie – you and the dealer neither win nor lose if you both have the same total
Also note that an Online Black Jack game plays on a touch-move basis. It’s better to make as many hits as you can before you settle in and move on with the game. You won’t have another chance should you want to undo a previous move. So only finish your turn as soon as you feel confident of your card values. And as soon as you and the other players around you are done, the dealer then takes his/her turn in revealing the cards that he/she has; and the proceeds into taking a few more cards until he/she gets a value of 17 or higher. Now if the dealer’s cards vary from what the players have, then the house edge would be really high, that it will result to no one playing.
