Here are some of the basic terminologies and scorings to a Real Blackjack game:
• Hit – a hit is when you take a card. You are allowed to hit as many times as you desire.
• Stand – a stand means to end your turn. The next player gets to play after you stand.
• Double Down – a double down is when you double your bet. You can take one more card and then end you turn.
• Split – if you happen to have two of the same card (i.e. two 6’s), you have the option of splitting them up and playing them for separate hands. You get to have an extra card for each. With this, you can either hit or stand on each card hand. You will also need to place another bet as you’re playing for two hands now.
• Face cards – these are your Kings, Queens and Jacks (which is worth ten)
• Ace – an ace can either be counted as 11 (if and when it triggers a bust), or count as 1
• Bust – this happens when you go over the value of 21. You automatically lose.
• Win – if you happen to have a higher value compared to what the dealer has
• Lose – you automatically lose if your cards are lower than the dealers
• Push or Tie – you and the dealer neither win nor lose if you both have the same total
When playing Blackjack Online, bear into mind that this game has been perceived to be a touch-move game. As soon as you finish your turn, then that’s it. You won’t have another chance should you wish to undo a previous decision. A word of advise here, until you’re completely sure, make as much hits as you can before you decide to move further in the game. When all the players are done with their turn, the dealer then reveals his/her cards, and then proceeds into taking a few more until a value of 17 or higher is acquired. Now if the dealer’s cards vary from what the players have, then the house edge would be really high, that it will result to no one playing.
